Die \u201ckleinen Schwestern der Armen\u201c, sind in 32 L\u00e4ndern der Welt pr\u00e4sent und begleiten \u00e4ltere Menschen bis an ihr Lebensende. \u00c4ltere Arme ab 65 Jahren werden ungeachtet ihrer Kaste und ihrer Religion willkommen gehei\u00dfen, getr\u00f6stet und gepflegt.<\/p>\n

Derzeit gibt es 184 solcher Hospize in der ganzen Welt, 13 davon in Indien. Im Hospiz in Tuticorin, welches Elmar Jung besucht hat, wird ein Sauerstoffger\u00e4t ben\u00f6tigt, um \u00e4ltere Menschen palliativ versorgen zu k\u00f6nnen, ohne sie in den letzten Tagen ihres Lebens in ein Krankenhaus bringen zu m\u00fcssen.<\/p>\n
