In die Mahatma Gandhi-Schule in dem kleinen Dorf Kanudih in Nord-Indien, in der N\u00e4he der heiligen Pilger-Stadt Varanasi, am Ganges gelegen, gehen weit \u00fcber 800 Sch\u00fcler, die in den D\u00f6rfern der Umgebung wohnen. Die Leute dort sind recht arm und leben mit ihren Familien von den geringen Eink\u00fcnften, die sie als Tagel\u00f6hner oder H\u00e4ndler verdienen. 10 Kindern geben wir finanzielle Unterst\u00fctzung. Die Schule wird geleitet von Maria-Ward-Schwestern (die sog. „Englischen Fr\u00e4ulein“), einer auch bei uns in Deutschland verbreiteten Ordensgemeinschaft.<\/p>\n
